Norfolk is a very dog friendly county. Lots of open spaces, easy walking, very quiet sandy beaches with few restrictions. Southrepps Common is on your doorstep & there are a couple of lovely walks a short distance away by car including the recently restored North Walsham & Dilham Canal which leads into Bacton Woods where there is miles more off-road walks to enjoy!

Beaches
Dogs are allowed on most of the local beaches all year round but there are restrictions on a few of them, 1 May – 1 October. The NNDC Dogs On Beaches leaflets explains which ones and how far the restricted area extends and this Explore Norfolk Website has a huge amount of useful information too.
Dog Park - A fenced in 2 acre field so you can allow your dog to run free off the lead. There is also an additional walking area.
